Kelley S. Hestir works in a variety of media including bronze, glass, clay, resin, and light/sound installations. She is an accomplished illustrator and has vast experience in publication and graphic design. Kelley received an MFA in sculpture from the University of Hawaii where she taught for six years. She is the original co-founder ArtForms Artists Association of New Mexico and “For the Love of Art” month, a regional celebration of art now in its 15th year.
Kelley exhibits internationally, has numerous public and private commissions and is best known as the designer and sculptor of the “Bataan Death March Memorial" at Veterans Park in Las Cruces, NM. She teaches Art at NMSU-Doña Ana Community College. Her current work can be seen at the Adobe Patio and Main Street Galleries in Las Cruces.
